Warehouse Worker/Driver

Summary: The Warehouse Worker/Driver is responsible for various tasks related to managing inventory in a warehouse setting and transporting equipment to different locations using company vehicles. This role involves receiving, storing, and organizing equipment in the warehouse, picking, and packing orders for shipment, loading and unloading delivery trucks, operating forklifts or other equipment for moving heavy items, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring timely and safe delivery of products to customers or other designated locations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Unloading/Loading of product from trucks/trailers.
  • Receive and unpack amusement equipment to select warehouse locations.
  • Effectively and efficiently package outbound shipment to customers, this includes building pallets and crating.
  • Fill requisitions and orders.
  • Ensure that safety and compliance practices meet OSHA standards.
  • Maintains standards for cleanliness, organization, and safety throughout the warehouse.
  • Responsible for the overall cleanliness of the warehouse and truck areas.
  • Ensure truck is always DOT compliant before leaving garage.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Packing orders for shipment.
  • Carpentry skills a plus.
  • Pallet building.
  • Applicant must have a minimum of 6 months of delivery driver experience.
  • Must be able to operate large trucks (26’ box trucks) in accordance with state and or local laws.
  • Driver’s License – Must pass a DOT Physical and get a class C endorsement.
  • Amusement/Vending Industry experience a plus, but not necessary.
  • Pass physical indicating they can meet DOT and the physical requirements of the position.
  • Must be able to handle (Load, Unload, push, pull, lift, carry, etc…) all equipment including Video games, Vending, Redemption and Parts.
  • Must be able to lift/carry 80+ lbs. and move 50 sq. ft./1000 lbs. fragile pieces alone with help of pump jack.
  • Deliveries can include curbs and inside white glove deliveries.
  • Able to safely and securely crate equipment and coordinate shipments.
  • Must be able to handle pump jack and dollies. Must be able to operate a stand-up and sit-down forklift. Forklift certified.
  • Loading and unloading of trucks and maintaining orderly warehouse.
  • Computer, hand scanner and paperwork skills a plus.
  • Must be punctual and able to work overtime as business requires.
  • Must be knowledgeable of how to use a map or GPS.
  • Experience in local DOT rules and regulations.
