A key component of a successful FEC is amusement equipment support because broken equipment means you aren’t generating revenue. We launched Betson Technical University as part of our commitment to helping our FEC’s be successful. Our skilled, experienced in-house technicians conduct the training, sharing their knowledge, experience and best practices. These two-day courses provide extensive family entertainment center training, whether the technician is an experienced mechanic or is new to the field. Attendees tell us they appreciate interacting with their peers from other FEC’s, as well as learning directly from technical experts.
Topics Include: Game System Overview, Digital Multi-Meter, Basic Electricity, Basic Soldering/Splicing Techniques, Game Maintenance, Card Reader 101, Troubleshooting, Electronic Circuit Theory, Advanced Troubleshooting, Wiring Schematics, Computer Repair, and Basic LCD Repair.
At the end of the FEC training, attendees take a BTU certification exam and earn a Betson Techical University diploma.
We want our customers to be able to help themselves. The more they know about how to fix their equipment, the more uptime they will have. We offer FEC training for technicians, even if they can’t fix a machine, they will have the knowledge to help our people walk them through it.”
