Spotlight on Tukwila Family Fun Center & Bullwinkle’s Restaurant
This month, we’re highlighting Tukwila Family Fun Center / Bullwinkle’s in Tukwila, WA — a long-standing family entertainment center that’s been part of the local community since August 1999. It’s one of three Bullwinkle’s locations, with others in Wilsonville, OR and Upland, CA. The center’s founders, John and Jim Huish, have deep roots in the amusement industry, opening their first miniature golf course in 1957 and earning a place in the IAAPA Hall of Fame in 2013.
Tukwila Family Fun Center has worked with Betson for several years to keep its arcade updated and running smoothly. Their 10,000-square-foot game room features over 80 games, including popular titles such as Godzilla Kaiju Wars VR, The Wizard of Oz, ICEE Slush Rush, Goatz N Ropes, and King of Rings. The team regularly updates its lineup through Betson’s trade-in program to keep things fresh for returning guests.
In addition to arcade games, Bullwinkle’s offers a variety of attractions like Go Karts, Bumper Boats, Miniature Golf, Laser Tag, and a full-service restaurant. The staff actively promotes their game room by showcasing new arrivals with signage throughout the facility, keeping guests engaged and coming back for more.
“We’ve always viewed Betson as more than a vendor — they’ve been a reliable partner for our business,” says Rich Yee, Partner at Tukwila Family Fun Center / Bullwinkle’s. “Steve Lamoreaux and the team do a great job staying connected with our operation, keeping us informed about new game releases, and supporting industry events like the Northwest Spotlight show.”
The Tukwila location also offers ongoing specials, including Unlimited Video Arcade Game Play every Thursday and Friday night, as well as seasonal offers and group packages for all ages.
