Inspiring Excitement In Communities
Rancho Mission Viejo, an active 23,000 acres housing development including ranch and farm, habitat reserve, and neighborhoods in the unincorporated areas of South Orange County, CA, was looking to add a revenue-generating feature to their community.
The community was looking to add a feature that would be a hit with their residents while still generating revenue. Other amenities such as a swimming pool, fire pit, and bocce ball courts are features that generally do not bring in revenue and require upkeep. Rancho Mission Viejo was looking to help offset these and their annual lease costs while adding something beneficial for their residents.
How Betson Helped
Betson determined the best layout and carefully selected the best games that would work. This robust community can thrive and grow while allowing room for change in the future.
Some of the games that were placed include:
- Jurassic Park Arcade
- World Tour Foosball
- Super Chexx
- Pac-Man Arcade Party
- Air FX
Results, Return on Investment, and Future Plans
The arcade was a big success (with younger and older residents) as an added amenity in the community. The revenue generated from the arcade’s token sales more than paid for the community’s annual lease cost within the first seven months of opening the game room.
Betson has been and will continue to do quarterly service checkups on the machines. This has also greatly benefited Rancho Mission Viejo, ensuring that the machines provide their residents with the best experience possible.
