The Vending & Office Coffee (OCS) Outside Sales Representative will expand the business footprint of Betson’s full line of Vending and OCS products. The right person will be responsible for selling to new and existing customers, identifying new opportunities, and following up on potential leads. The Outside Sales Representative will also monitor industry trends in order to identify emerging markets and develop plans to utilize those markets to expand revenue.   ***Hours will be 8:00 am – 4:30 pm when in corporate office located in Carlstadt, NJ. When traveling for trade shows or customer visits – daily hours will vary.***   ONLY LOCAL NJ Local Candidates will be considered. NO RELOCATION   Job Responsibilities:
  • Make outbound sales calls to prospective and current customers
  • Heavy focus on hunting and creating new relationships
  • Use Salesforce CRM to document lead progress for setting appointments and customer data input
  • Recommend products from Betson suite based on customer needs, marketing strategy, and company directives
  • Monitor market conditions in relation to competitor offerings and customer needs
  • Utilize all available resources to reach out to prospects and turn them into customers
  • Build successful relationships with clients (recurring orders, upsell and cross-selling activity)
  • Travel to set appointments, industry trade shows, and necessary trainings
  • Weekly reporting to National Sales Manager on prior week and next week’s sales activities
  • Maintain a professional company image at all times
  • Exceed established targets: calls, appointments, new accounts, and total sales
  Job Requirements:
  • 4+ year Outside Sales Experience, OCS & Vending preferred
  • Strong computer skills (spreadsheets, CRM)
  • Reliable transportation, up to 75% travel
  • Strong Time Management Skills
  • Self-Motivated and comfortable working with minimal direction

Betson Enterprises, a division of H. Betti Industries, Inc. is currently seeking a Technician/Installer to service and install vending machines and arcade games at our client locations. Our branch is in Carlstadt, NJ. In this position, you must be willing and able to travel 25-50% to client sites with frequent overnight stays, some which leave on Sunday and return on Saturday. This is necessary and required. * Job Responsibilities for Technician & Installer:
  • Repair and installation of coin-operated Video machines
  • Refurbishment of used video game equipment
  • Troubleshoots computers to modular level
  • Installation of equipment in game rooms
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
  Job Requirements of a Technician/Installer:
  • Must be mechanically inclined and familiar with all hand tools– we will train the right candidate
  • Driver’s License – Clean driving record a must
  • Must be willing and able to travel to client sites with frequent overnight stays are required
  • Must be punctual and able to work overtime
  • Must be able to lift/carry 80+ lbs. and move 50 sq. ft./1000 lbs. fragile pieces alone with the help of pump jack
  • Must be able to handle (load, unload, push, pull, lift, carry, etc.) all equipment including Video games, Vending, Redemption and Parts
  • Must be able to handle a forklift, pump jack, and dollies
  • Prior truck driving experience helpful
  • Able to safely and securely crate equipment
  • Computer, and paperwork skills a plus
  • Amusement/Vending Industry experience a plus, but not necessary

Requirements for Outside Sales Representative:

  • Positive Attitude
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail Oriented with good Organizational Skills
  • Possesses creativity with drive-in implementing and following through on ideas
