Gearing up for the 2018 Big Buck World Championship

Who doesn’t love Big Buck HD? Each year, the Big Buck World Championship brings the top players and fans together for an unforgettable celebration of all things Big Buck. It starts with Online Qualifying Tournaments, available on participating online Big Buck HD games across the United States, Australia, and Canada. At the end of qualification, 64 players will be invited to the World Championship and 32 players will be invited to the Ladies Tournament.

The 2018 Big Buck World Championship will take place in Las Vegas at the Esports Arena within the iconic Luxor Hotel & Casino. The Esports Arena will be an unrivaled experience for Big Buck competition. The 30,000-square-foot, multilevel arena is designed to host every form of competitive gaming, from daily play to high-stakes esports tournaments, and features a competition stage, 50-foot LED video wall, telescopic seating, PC and console gaming stations, and a network TV-quality production studio. Accompanying elements like virtual reality platforms, retro gaming consoles and a comprehensive menu set the arena apart as an unrivaled esports entertainment experience for both casual and professional gamers, or even non-gamers who want an insider's look at what's quickly becoming one of the world's most popular spectator sports.

$100,000 in total prizes available during the 2018 season.

For 2018, the eleventh-annual World Championship is packing a $20,000 top prize! The top 28 players and 36 wildcards will compete in this main event. In addition to the World Championship, there will also be eighth-annual Ladies Tournament, with a top prize of $5000. This ladies-only tournament is comprised of the top 12 female players and 20 female wildcards. With $100,000 in total prizes available during the 2018 season, could this be the year that a female hunter wins BOTH tournaments?

The 2018 Big Buck World Championship take place October 26 and 27 in Las Vegas and will livestream, so fans can catch all the action. The livestream hosts are Callum Fletcher and past Big Buck World Champion and community player, Alex Derhohannesian. LemonKiwi will be on interviews all night.
